A Beautiful desert Sunrise

Tristan is getting married in a week so we headed east for a sendoff. Tristan, Tom and Jason went over Friday and started fishing and I met up with them Saturday afternoon. when I showed up it was a 100 degrees plus and they were off taking a swim in a cool desert spring. Gunshots in the distance announced their approach I waited at the campsite had seven fish in seven casts , you could not throw out a top water lure and not catch a fish. The wind kicked up as it does in eastern Washington and we sat out for awhile and enjoyed some fishing beverages ... Chivas... Tequila... and lots of ice. The wind mellowed a little and we were out hooking up at times all 4 of us had fish on. The wind died it got dark and we headed in for dinner. The others were happy to see I had packed in a barbeque 4 Steaks, Caesar salads and margaritas , we were roughing it but the way we looked at it someone has to.  We fished the next morning  we fished and then packed up and moved on to our favorite trout lake and caught some nice fish , we all landed fish including Jason's first tiger trout which he did a fine job juggling for a picture.... the last fish I caught was a sweet little skullpin in the last picture . all and all we had a great trip , lots of fish, lots of drinking and good food and  more stories to add to our tackle boxes.    oh yeah  don't forget the boat....lol
